The Foundation for the Sorbian People is a foundation under public law according to Article 1 of the State Contract between the State of Brandenburg and the Free State of Saxony on the establishment of the “Foundation for the Sorbian People” of 28.08.1998. The seat of the Foundation is Bautzen. It carries the sorbian name: Załožba za serbski lud.
